Laid-Up Tarpon Tan – Small

The Laid-Up Tarpon fly is a mandatory addition to any tarpon fly box.  With plastic eyes and a body of marabou, hackle, and grizzly hackle tips, the Laid-Up Tarpon fly lands softly and is loaded with movement.  On the pause, it has a very slow sink rate and is designed to be able to fish it very slowly without sinking too fast for finicky, laid-up tarpon.  A must have for fishing the Florida Keys for tarpon, and also a good fly for snook and stripers. 

The Laid-Up Tarpon is tied on a very strong, TMC 600SP saltwater hook.  Total fly size is approximately 3.5-inches in total length.
